# Teaspoon Club

> Teaspoon Club is an English language school in Prague, Czech Republic, specializing in small-group English courses for seniors (Czech: angličtina pro seniory). Classes are taught in a relaxed, tea-club atmosphere by experienced instructor Mgr. Alžběta Rychtecká. In-person sessions take place at the Emauzy Monastery in Prague 2; online lessons are also available.

## About

Teaspoon Club was created by Mgr. Alžběta Rychtecká, an English teacher with extensive experience teaching older adults. The school name and concept draw inspiration from traditional English tea clubs: students enjoy tea while learning and socializing with peers their own age. Groups are capped at 10–12 students to ensure personal attention and a pace comfortable for active seniors.

## Courses

Three course levels run each semester (autumn / spring):

- [Teaspoon Explorer Club](https://www.teaspoon.cz/teaspoon-explorer-club/): False beginners to intermediate learners (mírně pokročilí, A1–B1). Refreshes forgotten knowledge and fills grammar gaps. 3 700 CZK per semester.
- [Teaspoon Conversation Club](https://www.teaspoon.cz/teaspoon-conversation-club/): Advanced conversation practice (B1–B2). Focus on practical everyday topics, vocabulary, and fluency. 3 800 CZK per semester.
